Newberg has always been home. Born and raised here, this community has been the place where life, family, career, and service have come together. Alongside my wife, Paula, we’ve been blessed to raise our children here and invest in the community that has given so much to our family.
For nearly four decades, serving Newberg has been both a calling and a privilege. From a career in public education in Newberg-Dundee Public Schools, to serving as President of the Newberg Area Habitat for Humanity Board, Chair of the Newberg Affordable Housing Commission, Kiwanis and other volunteer efforts, the focus has always been on strengthening the community and creating opportunities for others.
Every family should have the opportunity to build a life here, with attainable housing, thriving local businesses, safe neighborhoods, and a community-centered approach to growth.
Together, we can ensure Newberg remains the kind of hometown where people not only want to live today, but where future generations can afford to stay, put down roots, and proudly call home.
Running for Newberg City Council is a commitment to put our community first—to protect the values that unite us, preserve the character of the town we love, and make thoughtful decisions that prepare Newberg for future generations.
